The Ecodesign Fair is again welcoming artist ideas and submissions for exhibits and installations at this fun weekend-long community event. The fair will be held April 13-14 at the Cool Docks, 505 Zhongshan S Road, Shanghai. It is an entirely outdoor venue, with several possible sites for installations and activities.
The theme of the fair this year is “Reduce Waste”, which can be very openly construed.
All expenses of selected proposals will be paid for, but think lean and clean! There are no funds available for artist or curator fees. There were an estimated 8,000 visitors at last year’s event, and for artists that touch on themes consonant with “eco-design” this is a fabulous platform for getting your work into the public sphere.
